For the test

  1. kefir 500 ml
  2. flour 700-750 gr
  3. salt 12 tsp
  4. soda 1 tsp

For filling:

  1. potatoes 700-800 gr
  2. onions 2 pcs.
  3. salt to taste;
  4. butter 80 gr
  5. vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  6. butter for serving

For the filling, boil the potatoes in salted water. Dice the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. When the potatoes are boiled, drain the water from it, add the butter and mash the potatoes, add a little water from the potatoes so that the mashed potatoes can easily be spread over the dough.

For the test mix kefir with salt and soda. Then add the flour gradually. Knead the dough on a flat surface, it should not stick to your hands, but it should be soft. Put the dough in a bag and leave it on the table for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll out the circle, put the potatoes in the center. Pinch the edges and roll the cake a little with a rolling pin.

Fry the flat cake in a dry frying pan on both sides until golden. Grease a hot cake with butter.
