Chop the onion into small cubes, chop the garlic.
Fry onions in 1 tbsp. vegetable oil until transparent, add minced meat, garlic, thyme, ketchup, salt and before to taste, simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Cut the potatoes into thin slices 1-2 mm, you can use a shredder for cabbage. If you have poorly baked potatoes in the oven (remains damp), then you can pre-boil for 3 minutes.
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil or cover it with parchment. Lay out the bottom and sides of the form with overlapping potato slices. Potatoes can be slightly salted to taste.
Put the next stripes of cheese on the bottom and sides of the mold.
Next is the stuffing. For minced meat - again overlapping potatoes, for potatoes - cheese, etc.
If it is necessary that the casserole is higher, we spread the second row of potatoes on the sides of the form, also overlapping.
We continue to lay out the layers until the filling is over. The last layer is potatoes, grease it with a little vegetable oil (0.5 tbsp).
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until the potatoes are ready for about 40-60 minutes. Let it cool slightly and gently turn the dish over onto the dish, the potato casserole with minced meat is ready!
