  1. Lentils 0.5 kg

  4. Potato 2-3 medium
  5. Caraway seeds 1 tsp

  7. Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  8. Water (cold) 2 l.
  9. Salt to taste

Pre-soak lentils. If green - then at night. Red can be for 30-60 minutes.
Dice potatoes. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a fine grater.
Fry the onions in a pan until transparent. add carrots. add potatoes. Lightly fry. Drain the water from the soaked lentils and add to the pan. Pour 2 liters of water, bring to a boil. To salt. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. 15 minutes before the end of cooking add caraway seeds, chili pepper, tomato paste. Serve with lemon.
