- Salmon steak 1-2 pieces
- Large onion 1 piece
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Herbs (thyme, tarragon) 1 sprig
- Sour cream 30% 1/2 cup
- Fresh chili pepper a few slices

- Main ingredients: Salmon, Sour cream
- Serving 1 serving
Frying pan, knife, spatula
Step 1: fry the onions.
Onion cut into half rings of medium thickness. Melt the butter in a pan and toss the onion in it, salt, cover and cook 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Periodically, the onions need to be mixed.
Step 2: add the salmon.
When the onion becomes transparent, use a spatula to move it away from the center of the pan. Sprinkle salmon steaks with salt and pepper on both sides, and then put in a pan with onions. Cover and fry for another 5 minutes.
Step 3: add the sour cream.
Now add sour cream, slices of hot pepper, aromatic herbs and continue cooking, covered. No need to turn the fish over. A few minutes later, as soon as it is ready, just season the sauce with pepper and salt to taste and serve.
Step 4: serve salmon with onion in sour cream.
Salmon stewed in sour cream with onions, served with any light side dish, for example, goes well with boiled broccoli.
Enjoy your meal!
