Aromatic duck with Brussels sprouts in the oven


  1. Duck up to 2 kg
  2. Blue bow 2 pcs
  3. Brussels sprouts 0.5 kg
  4. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  5. Sherry or Vermouth 2 tbsp.
  6. Ginger grated 1 tbsp.
  7. Star anise (anise) 2 pcs
  8. Sugar 1 tsp

Divide the duck into several parts. In a stewpan, fry the pieces of duck skin with fat and melt the fat. Roast the duck in melted fat and remove from the stewpan.
We cut the onions in halves and fry in a saucepan and put in a bowl with roasted duck. Pour vermouth, soy sauce, 3/4 cup of water into the saucepan. Add ginger, star anise, sugar. Bring to a boil. Duck and onion put in a saucepan. Bake in the oven under the lid for 1 hour 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 C.
We take the stewpan out of the oven. Water the duck with the resulting juice and add the Brussels sprouts. We send back to the oven to bake under the lid for 45 minutes.
