Salted Tomatoes in Own Juice


  1. Tomatoes 3.5 kilograms
  2. Salt 1 teaspoon in each jar
  3. Sugar 2 teaspoons in each jar

Liter cans, pan, knife, plate


Step 1: peel the tomatoes.

Make incisions crosswise on tomatoes. Boil water in a saucepan and put tomatoes in it on 3-4 minutes, then take out the vegetables and let them cool.

Use a knife to pick out the skin of the tomato in the places of incisions and remove. Do everything on a plate to preserve tomato juice. After pour it into jars of tomatoes.

Peel all the tomatoes.

Step 2: harvest salted tomatoes in our own juice.

Peeled tomatoes fill sterilized jars, stack tightly. Pour the remaining tomato juice on top, add salt and sugar.

Put the cans in a pan with a towel at the bottom and pour water over the shoulders. Cover the jars with lids. Simmer until boiling and simmer for 50 minutes (this is for liter cans).
Twist the hot jars with the lids, put them upside down, wrap them in a blanket and cool.

Step 3: serve the salted tomatoes in their own juice.

Serve tomatoes in your own juice as a snack or as a supplement. This is delicious!
